Pollinator/Wildlife Field Day

Meet experts on monarch butterflies, honeybees, birds, and bats and learn ways to enhance beneficial wildlife habitat. Wednesday, October 25 from 9 am to 3 pm. After the presentations in the morning, please be dressed for a short hike outdoors to see plantings of trees, native grasses, pollinator plots, river filter strips and even a beaver lodge. Learn about things you can do in your back yard. Lunch will be provided. The event will be held at Wingnuts Airfield 5 miles south of Connersville just off HWY 121 on 480 South, with plenty of direction signs to get you there. Walk-ins are welcome, but it would be appreciated if you call 765-541-1287.
