2017 Chamber Dinner a Success

Chamber Annual Dinner & Awards Banquet a success -- highlights 2017 Award Winners!
The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce's Annual Dinner & Awards Banquet was held on Thursday, February 1, 2018. The 300 guests registered at this year's event were treated with a look back at Indiana's history in sports. FCN Bank's Opening Reception provided a great networking time where guests were showered with candy treats, appetizers from C&T Catering, a replay of "Hoosiers," and craft beer served by Norris English Pub. The main event included a delicious fried chicken/ribs meal catered by C&T Catering,and a focus on the Chamber's 2017 successes. Keynote speaker for the Chamber (sponsored by Fayette County United Way) was Bill Benner, Senior Vice President of External Communications for Pacers Sports & Entertainment. His story of 50 years covering Indiana Sports brought home the significance of the Hoosier State's impact with national and international sporting events. The evening ended with the highly-anticipated announcement of the four major award winners:

- FCN Bank selected for the Beautification award, sponsored by Fayette County Title, LLC;
- Fayette Regional Health System received the Humanitarian/Service award, sponsored by Whitewater Valley Rehabilitation;
- Yodies Frozen Goodness chosen for the Small Business/Entrepreneur award, sponsored by Tim's Auto Outlet; and,
- Citizen of the Year awarded to Sharon McQueen, sponsored by Union Savings & Loan Association.
