Re: 2017 Tax Bill - Analysis on House version
The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce is closely watching the deliberations and votes on the proposed Tax Reform Bill. Amendments and compromises are all part of the deliberations among our federal legislators. The important question our membership has is how will this pending legislation affect local businesses in the short and long-term.
The House has just passed their version of the 2017 tax bill. A non-partisan analysis was provided by Grant Thornton of the House version of this bill. Details on the Senate's bill will be provided when that analysis is available.
